But before I found storytelling, I spent years searching for myself. At 16, I left India for the U.S., chasing a future I thought I was supposed to want. I graduated with degrees in Math and Statistics — a path that made sense on paper, but never felt like mine.
Because no matter how logical life looked, my heart was somewhere else.
"That 'somewhere else' was behind a camera."
My father's old SLR was my first teacher. At 15, I'd wake up before sunrise just to capture the world waking up. What started as curiosity became passion — a passion I buried for years, until it grew too loud to ignore.
A simple email changed everything. One of my photos was chosen to be showcased at the San Francisco Airport. Ten years of shooting quietly, and suddenly, the world was watching. That was my sign.
Today, I'm building a life around storytelling — creating films and images for brands, individuals, and ideas that deserve to live forever.
In the end, I have learned: The journey itself is the reward. And stories are what make the journey live on.
